Ceramic Studio on Štefánikova
You can find me at Štefánikova 51 in Brno, just a few
steps from the Šumavská tram stop.
Or, if you prefer, there’s also the Hrnčířská stop (“Potter’s Street”)—a little further, but thematically perfect, right? 😄
The studio is located above Erotic City. Yes, you read that right. Really! Look for the green garage doors—behind them, instead of cars, you’ll discover clay, wheels, ceramics, and calm.
Inside you’ll find a cozy space with a view of greenery. No shop windows, no passersby watching you—just peace, pottery wheels, the smell of clay, and… coffee. Or prosecco. Or beer. Whatever you like.
What can you do here?
- Try the pottery wheel (I have two: I demonstrate on one, you practice on the other)
- Enjoy a coffee / prosecco / beer and simply relax
- Create with your hands—mugs, bowls, animals, abstract objects…
- Glaze already finished pieces
- Book an individual lesson or a small group session (max. 4 people)
- Join classes also in English or Italian
- Come alone, with friends, a child, a dog—or even a turtle (your call! 🐢)
Note
The studio is on the 1st floor, so there are a few stairs. If you bring a stroller, I’ll gladly help you carry it up. Babies can sleep in the hallway connected to the studio—it’s private and accessible only to us.
What to bring?
Take clothes (and shoes) you don’t mind getting messy—especially on the wheel, clay tends to flye verywhere. Clay and glazes wash out, but trust me, you don’t want to ride the tram home looking like you crawled through a mud pit 😅.
How it works?
Wheel Throwing – Training – 1,400 CZK / 3h
- (1h training – 800 CZK, + 2h on the wheel – 600 CZK / 300 CZK per hour per person)
- Perfect for beginners. Together we’ll go through the basics – both technical and practical. On one wheel, I’ll demonstrate each step, and on the other, you’ll try them right away. That way you won’t need to sit through a long theory session before trying – we’ll work on your piece step by step.
- We’ll also agree whether you’d like to trim your piece, glaze it, or simply keep practicing throwing.
Wheel Throwing – Regulars – 900 CZK / 3h
- (300 CZK per hour per person)
- Already feel like a seasoned ceramics regular and just want to come and throw? No problem!
- This option is suitable for those who have already completed the training, or who have prior experience and know their way around the wheel.
- Of course, I’ll still be there in case you need advice or encouragement!
Modelling – 500 CZK / 2h
- (250 CZK per hour per person)
- Modeling and creating your own pieces (I can help with ideas if you’d like), I’ll give you guidance and be nearby.
Group sessions (max. 4 people)
Shared table work, wheel rotation, glazing finished pieces (yours or mine)
- 250 CZK/hour/person for table
work - 800 CZK/hour/person for wheel
introduction - 300 CZK/hour/person for wheel
work - 250 CZK/hour/person for glazing
(+200 CZK/piece if glazing my work) - (Discounts available for wheel training for multiple

Kids
No babysitter? No problem! Bring them along. I have a small
mobile play corner, and for older kids I’ve got activities prepared (cutters,
rolling pins with patterns, stencils, etc.).

- Kids 6–12 years: 150 CZK / 2 h
- Kids 12+: adult price
Glazing
- Your own pieces: 250
